What financial clients need from a build
A financial space has to protect money, data and people while still feeling open to the customer. That means controlled access, reliable power, resilient networks and finishes that hold up to daily traffic. It also means a schedule that respects business hours and regulators.
Many projects are renovations inside an operating branch or office. We phase the work, protect the public areas and keep cash handling and client meetings running wherever we can.
Why self-performing matters here
Security and uptime depend on electrical, mechanical and low voltage work being coordinated. HSM's own crews, with electrical led by a Master Electrician, install power, lighting, HVAC, alarms, access control and surveillance on one schedule. There are fewer handoffs, and one team answers for the result.
Our interior systems and carpentry crews build the teller counters, glass partitions, ceilings and millwork that give a branch its look.

Planning a financial project
Involve us early. We can help with site selection and lease negotiation with construction cost in view, then move into design, engineering and build. Many institutions have corporate design standards and security requirements, so we sort these out at the start.
Permits matter too. We handle municipal development and building permits and Alberta Safety Codes permits, and we plan around winter conditions when exterior work is involved.
Call us any time. Our phone and email are answered 24/7/365, and our project managers have decades of experience in occupied commercial buildings. We can walk a site, review your standards and give you a clear first plan before you commit to anything. Whether you have one branch to refresh or a series of offices to roll out, the same self-performing team follows the work through to handover.
Questions we hear
Do you work inside operating branches?
Yes. We phase work, set up dust and noise protection and schedule disruptive tasks for off hours when needed.
What size of project do you take on?
We build new construction and renovations or tenant improvements up to $50,000,000.
