Leadership
Hazim Gaber is our CEO and guides the company's direction. Dr. Magdy Istafanous is our Director of Engineering, and leads the in-house engineering that supports our design-build projects. Ghilda Gaber is our Director of Health & Safety, and she leads our approach to keeping every site safe.
Having engineering and safety inside the company means those voices are part of every project from the early planning stage.
Trade leads
Adam Williams is our Electrical Manager and a Master Electrician. He leads our electrical crews on power, lighting and controls. Adam Mason is our Low Voltage Systems Manager and looks after alarms, audio visual, sound masking and surveillance. Brian Wright is our Interior Systems Manager, with two decades of experience in framing, drywall and ceilings.
These managers lead people who work for HSM, not outside firms. That is the core of our self-perform model.
Project managers
Poppy Jameson and Rupinder Kaur each have two decades of experience managing construction projects. Trevor Atkinson holds a degree in architecture and a certificate in project management. Andreas Farini is a journeyman carpenter and a certified project manager.
Project managers are your daily contact. They plan the schedule, coordinate our trades, handle permits and inspections, and keep you informed in plain language.

Working together
Our team is not split across separate companies. Engineers, managers and crews talk to each other every day, which keeps decisions quick and responsibility clear.
And yes, we have an office dog. Shadow keeps morale high and checks every visitor at the door.
Each of our people is accountable for results, not just tasks. When you call, you reach someone who knows the project, and who can make a decision or find the person who can.
