What a secure back office does
Back offices handle cash counting, document processing, loan administration, mail and IT. Some hold cash and sensitive documents. All need controlled access, clear audit trails and rooms that can be locked down.
Layout matters. Staff move between counting rooms, vaults, workstations and meeting spaces. We help plan routes to keep people safe and reduce unnecessary traffic through sensitive areas.
Security and building systems
Our low voltage team installs card readers, cameras, alarms and duress buttons, with logging that supports your security policy. Doors and hardware are installed by our own crews, including electronic locks and restricted entries.
Our electrical crew, led by a Master Electrician, supplies dedicated circuits, lighting and backup connections. Our mechanical crew installs HVAC and ventilation, so counting rooms and technology spaces stay comfortable.
- Access control with logging
- Separate cash handling rooms
- Network and equipment closets
- Duress and intrusion alarms
Walls, ceilings and finishes
Security often requires full-height walls to the structure above, rather than stopping at a suspended ceiling. Our interior systems team builds these walls and the ceilings that go with them. Sound control and fire ratings are part of the plan.
Plan ahead
Work in secure areas has its own rules. Trades may need screening, and materials may need to be tracked. Because we use our own crews, we can restrict access to a smaller, known group. Ask us early about access protocols so we plan them into the schedule.
Finishing the build is not the end. We provide as-built information, test the security systems with your team and make sure staff understand how doors, alarms and access levels behave. Because our own low voltage and door crews did the work, we can adjust settings and hardware afterward without long waits for outside technicians.
