Sunglass Store

A sunglass store is small, bright and full of product. This project shows how we build compact retail where every detail is visible.

Small footprint, high detail

Sunglass stores are usually compact, with a lot of product on show. Every wall, case and light is within a customer's reach. That makes workmanship very visible, and mistakes are hard to hide.

Our interior systems team builds clean, flat walls and ceilings. Our painters finish them to a standard that suits a boutique setting, and our carpenters build display casework with exact dimensions so mirrors, shelves and glass fit right.

Displays, mirrors and cases

Much of the store is millwork. Wall displays, counter cases, mirror stations and cash wraps all need to be built or installed with care. Our carpentry and millwork team fabricates and installs them, and coordinates with any fixtures supplied by the brand.

Many displays need power for lit shelves or screens. Our electrical team, led by a Master Electrician, runs it to the right places and hides wiring inside the casework.

Light, security and climate

Lighting is critical when customers are judging colour and clarity. We install bright, balanced lighting without glare, with accent lights on display walls. Controls let staff adjust the store's look over the day.

Sunglasses are small and valuable, so security matters. Our low voltage team installs cameras, alarms and access control. Our mechanical crew handles HVAC and plumbing, which keeps a small space comfortable even with large windows and sun exposure.

Making a small project run well

Small retail jobs can still be complex, because many trades share a tight space. Our own crews sequence work day by day, so there is little wasted time between steps. We also coordinate with the landlord on hours, hoarding and approvals, which keeps the project on track for the opening date.

One team, one schedule and one phone number make a small project easier for the owner.

Questions we hear

Do you build custom display fixtures?
