Burger King Mill Woods

Quick-service restaurants run on tight schedules and heavy equipment. This project shows how we build and renovate for speed and reliability.

Building for a busy kitchen

A quick-service restaurant works hard every day. Kitchens need strong electrical service, exhaust and make-up air, hot water, floor drains and grease management. The dining room needs durable finishes, clear sightlines and good comfort.

Because brand standards in this sector are often detailed, we review the owner's requirements early and plan the work to match.

Electrical and mechanical are the core

Our electrical team, led by a Master Electrician, handles power for fryers, grills, coolers, lighting, menu boards and point-of-sale. Our mechanical crew handles ventilation, HVAC and plumbing, including kitchen exhaust, makeup air, sinks and drains.

Self-performing these trades is a major advantage in restaurant work. The two systems are closely tied, and our crews coordinate them directly.

Dining room and exterior

Dining rooms need finishes that clean easily and last. Our interior systems, carpentry and painting teams complete walls, ceilings, counters, seating areas and washrooms. Our door and hardware crew handles entrances and back-of-house doors.

Drive-through and exterior elements add other considerations, such as lighting, signage and winter access. Our low voltage group handles security cameras, alarms and digital signage.

Minimizing downtime

Every day a restaurant is closed costs the owner revenue. We plan renovations in short, focused windows, order equipment and finishes ahead and keep our crews on site until the work is done.

Alberta winters affect exterior work and deliveries, so we plan accordingly. Health authority review of food premises is also part of the process, and we build the project with those inspections in mind.

Self-performing the electrical, mechanical and interior work gives us one schedule and fast response. If a piece of equipment arrives late or an inspector asks for a change, our own crews can adjust within the same week.
