A pharmacy has a public side and a dispensary side. The front of store is for browsing, and the dispensary needs clear workflow, privacy and secure storage. Each side has different needs, and the boundary between them matters.
We plan the layout with the owner's needs in view: counters at the right height, space for consultation, and a path for staff that does not cross customer areas.
Secure and private by design
Medication storage needs controlled access and strong construction. Our low voltage group installs access control, alarms and surveillance. Our interior systems team builds walls with the right backing and construction, and our door and hardware crew fits secure doors and locks.
Privacy is also a design concern. Consultation areas need sound control, which we address with wall construction and ceiling treatments.
Building systems that support the work
Dispensaries need steady lighting, reliable power and good temperature control. Our electrical team, led by a Master Electrician, installs circuits for computers, refrigerators and equipment, and lighting that supports detailed work.
Our mechanical crew handles HVAC and plumbing, including handwashing sinks and other services. Stable temperature matters for comfort and for stored products, so we balance air carefully.

Regulation and timing
Pharmacies are regulated, and owners often need to meet professional standards for layout and security before opening. We encourage owners to confirm requirements with their regulator early so we can build to them. Our team handles building permits and inspections, and keeps one clear schedule so the opening date holds.
Carpenters build the front-of-store shelving, counters and feature walls, and our painters finish the space for a clean, calm look.
Our trades also keep costs steady. With electrical, mechanical, low voltage and interior work all done by HSM crews, there are fewer handoffs and one accountable team from first day to turnover.
