Privacy comes first
Clients share sensitive information in these offices. Meeting rooms and private offices need walls built to the deck, sealed gaps and quality doors. Reception should not let visitors overhear or see into work areas.
Our interior systems team builds partitions to the right sound ratings, and our mechanical crew keeps ventilation quiet and balanced so people cannot hear conversations through ducts.
Client-facing spaces
A reception, a few meeting rooms and a boardroom often set the first impression. Millwork, feature lighting, glass and good finishes help. Our carpentry and millwork crews build reception desks, credenzas and built-ins on site and in-house.
Behind the scenes, firms need file rooms, print areas, libraries and server closets. These add cooling and power needs that should be planned early.
Systems the firm relies on
Billing hours and client deadlines mean downtime is expensive. Our electricians, led by a Master Electrician, set up lighting and power, while our low voltage team handles data, AV, access control and cameras.
Video conferencing is now standard in meeting rooms. We plan the wiring, displays and acoustics together, so rooms work well on the first day.
Planning your move
Many firms renovate in place, so phasing is important. We can build in stages, work after hours and protect existing areas. Leases often limit after-hours work and restoration, so we review those terms before pricing.
Because HSM is involved before the lease is signed if you wish, we can compare spaces and estimate the build cost of each so the real cost of a move is clear.
Quality that suits the practice
Professional offices do not need to be flashy, but they do need to look careful. Clean lines, quiet rooms, good lighting and well-made millwork signal care to clients. These are the details our own carpenters, painters and finishers focus on.
We also help firms plan for growth, so new offices or workstations can be added later without opening up the whole floor.
