Always answered
Phone 1 800 716 8955 or email contact@hsmcm.ca at any time. Calls and email are answered 24/7/365. You will reach a person who can understand the situation and arrange the right response.
An emergency often reveals gaps in building knowledge: nobody knows where the water shutoff is, or which panel feeds the server room. We can help you prepare a simple building information sheet with main shutoff locations, panel locations and key contacts. It takes little time and can save a lot of it when something fails at two in the morning.
Why own trades matter in an emergency
In an emergency you need people who can come, not a list of numbers to call. Because HSM employs its own electricians, mechanical crews and interior trades, we can send qualified people ourselves. A power failure, a heating loss in winter or a plumbing leak can be assessed by the trade that handles it every day.
Typical urgent situations
- Loss of power or failed electrical equipment
- Heating or cooling failure
- Burst pipes and water leaks
- Damaged doors, locks and entrances
- Storm or impact damage needing temporary protection
- Security or alarm system faults
What happens when you call
We ask a few questions, give advice on immediate safety, and arrange an attendance. Our first goal is to make the situation safe and stop further damage. After that we explain the options for permanent repair and the likely cost. Where work needs permits or specialist trades, we say so plainly.
Response time depends on the problem, the time and the location, and we do not promise a fixed number of minutes. We commit to answering and acting.
What to plan for
Do not wait for a crisis. Tell us about your building in advance so we know where main shutoffs, panels and equipment are. For important facilities, set up an agreement before you need it, and keep our number with your staff.
