Military Facility Construction

Military facilities have strict site rules and demanding timelines. HSM brings its own trades and a clear safety program to this work.

Military Facility Construction

Working within site rules

Military sites have controlled access, security screening and specific procedures for materials, tools and contractors. Planning for these rules affects schedule and cost, because deliveries, crew changes and inspections take time.

We build that into the plan from the start. With our own crews, fewer people need to be screened and escorted, and the team on site is consistent.

Typical facility types

Projects may include offices, barracks and accommodation, training and classroom spaces, maintenance shops, messes, storage and administrative buildings. Each has its own demands on ventilation, power, finishes and durability.

How HSM delivers this work. Highlighted trades are self-performed by our own crews.

Electrical and mechanical reliability

Facilities need dependable heat, ventilation, power and communications, particularly in winter. Our electrical crew, led by a Master Electrician, installs distribution, lighting and emergency systems. Our mechanical crew handles HVAC and plumbing. Our low voltage team handles alarms, access control and surveillance.

Our in-house engineering team, led by Dr. Magdy Istafanous, reviews designs and supports owner requirements.

Safety and documentation

Owners expect organized safety programs and thorough records. Our health and safety program is led by Ghilda Gaber. We document inspections, permits and changes as the work progresses.

Specific security clearance and standards for a project are set by the owner, and we will confirm requirements before bidding.

Getting started

Send us your scope and site requirements early. We will confirm access, security and documentation rules, then propose a schedule and crew plan that works within them. Our estimators price the extra time that screening, escorts and delivery windows can add, so the budget reflects reality and not an optimistic guess.

Questions we hear

Do military projects follow different rules?

Often they have additional site access, security and documentation rules set by the owner. We confirm them early and plan the schedule around them.
