Brand standards and fast timelines
Most QSR projects follow a franchisor or corporate prototype with defined layouts, finishes and equipment packages. We read those standards carefully and build to them, and we flag anywhere a local building, site or code condition requires a variation. Early flags save time later.
Operators want to open quickly, and every week of delay is lost sales. We plan the sequence of permits, long-lead equipment and trade work so there is no idle time between steps. For renovations and refreshes, we can work in short closure windows or at night.
Drive-thru, kitchen and site
A drive-thru adds site considerations: lane length, stacking, order points, menu boards and canopy. It also adds a service window and often a second point of service inside. Kitchen layout matters as much, since the line has to move product in seconds. Fryers, grills and refrigeration require reliable gas, electrical and exhaust.
Our mechanical crew installs the HVAC, exhaust, make-up air and plumbing, and our electrical crew, led by a Master Electrician, handles power, lighting and signage. Our low voltage team installs order-point cabling, kiosks, digital menu boards, surveillance and alarm systems.

What to plan for
Plan for approvals early. A new build needs development and building permits, and sometimes traffic review, while an in-line unit needs landlord approval of plans. Health authority review applies to the kitchen in both cases.
Alberta winters affect exterior work such as concrete, paving and canopies, so schedule these with weather in mind. If you are opening multiple locations, tell us. A repeatable approach with the same crew and details across sites reduces cost and surprises.
Consistency across locations
Operators with several locations value repeatable results. We keep notes on what worked at each site, such as electrical capacity, hood arrangements and finishing details, and use them to speed up the next one.
Our own crews also mean consistent workmanship from site to site, which helps with brand inspections and franchisor sign-off at handover.
