Hygiene built in
Processing plants must be easy to clean and hard to contaminate. That means seamless floors, coved corners, sloped surfaces to drains, sealed walls and ceilings, and equipment placed to allow cleaning access. Clean and raw areas are separated, with controlled traffic between them.
Materials matter. Stainless steel, sealed panels and chemical-resistant coatings are common. Our interior systems and painting crews install these finishes.
Utilities that run the line
Our mechanical crew installs process and sanitary piping, hot water, drains, ventilation, humidity control and refrigeration connections. Our electrical crew, led by a Master Electrician, provides motors, controls, lighting and washdown-rated devices. Equipment often arrives from several suppliers, so we coordinate connections and clearances.
Our in-house engineering team, led by Dr. Magdy Istafanous, supports load calculations and coordination.
- Seamless, coved floors
- Washdown-rated electrical
- Controlled airflow and pressure
- Refrigeration connections
Safety and traceability
Our low voltage team installs access control, cameras and monitoring for security and traceability. Allergen control, pest prevention and employee flow are design topics. We build with these in mind.
Expansion and phasing
Many plants expand while operating. We phase construction, protect production areas and plan shutdowns carefully. Food safety is a priority during renovation, so dust and moisture control are strict.
Production downtime is expensive, so we plan shutdowns around your shipping calendar and keep a close eye on equipment deliveries. Our mechanical and electrical crews stay on site through commissioning, so equipment is connected, tested and running before the first batch.
Health and food safety authorities review plans for processing buildings. We assemble the drawings and details they expect and plan inspections into the schedule, so approvals do not hold up the start of production.
Pest control is a design issue too. Sealed penetrations, tight doors, screened openings and clean exterior grounds all reduce risk, and we build those details into the work rather than leaving them for later.
